Students are the future citizens and our college aims to educate its students. Education is not only about literacy but it also about inculcating values and culture. With an aim to promote and protect the rich cultural heritage of our nation, the Cultural and e-Magazine Sub-Committee of Surendranath College comes forward with many activities involving its students, teachers and non-teaching staff. Being one of the oldest sub-committees of the college, it has organized a number of enlightening and artistic programs on various themes and occasions in the past and still continues to do so. This Sub-Committee is also very much popular amongst the students as it enables them to express themselves in a fruitful manner. We believe that the activities and programs of this sub-committee can help to broaden a student’s horizons, helping them understand more about other cultures in various corners of the world.

The Sub-Committee also publishes magazines in off-line and online modes. This helps to motivate and inspire the students and provides the budding talented writers, poets and painters a platform to showcase their expertise.
